Search

AssetWise CONNECT Edition includes a search utility to quickly find objects based on a keywords, phrase, or attributes. You can perform three levels of searches in AssetWise CONNECT Edition:

Quick Search

When you click the Search icon ( ), the quick search menu appears.

From this menu, you can search for objects such as:

Activities
Assets
Conditions
Contracts
Distribution Orders
Documents
File Plans
Grouped Virtual Items
Items
Locations
Organizations
Persons
Programs
Projects
Reports
Responsibility Matrix
Restrictions
Task Orders
Tasks
Transmittals
Ungrouped Virtual Items
Virtual Item Groups
Workflows.

Intermediate Search

Intermediate searches are available for some AssetWise CONNECT Edition capabilities, as an option from its respective tile on the Launch Pad. For example, the Documents tile:

From this option, you can enter values for more than one attribute to further refine your search. For example, in an intermediate document search, you can filter results by including search values for the document code, name, description, and/or class.

Advanced Search

You can perform advanced searches from the search utility, using the Advanced button. For example, you might search for all documents that include "DGN" in the document name that were approved prior to a specific date. You can also search within the contents of electronic documents, providing the FTR option has been enabled.

Criteria for an advanced search may be saved for future reference, via the Save criteria menu, for example:
